Polysics is a punk rock band from Tokyo. They took a US tour this fall and one of the spots they visited was Cambridge Massachusetts.
This was the second I've seen them in concert and it was just as good as the first time (in 2005, when they were still on the now defunct Tofu Records label). They really know how to put on a great show, and are enthusiastically grateful to their foreign fans as well. They have a unique sound, and they like to compare themselves to DEVO. But Polysics is more rock than cheesy electronic (there's enough of that too).
